Position Overview:

The role offers a hiring incentive of up to 10% of the initial annual salary.

Envisioneering, Inc. is in search of a skilled and experienced Radio Frequency (RF) Systems Engineer. This role will contribute to our initiatives at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) Tactical Electronic Warfare Division (TEWD), focusing on enhancing ongoing research and development projects while exploring and proposing innovative solutions related to the utilization of RF energy in electronic warfare, countermeasures, and directed energy applications for the U.S. Navy.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a physics or engineering discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the design, construction, and/or modeling of RF transmitters, receivers, and/or related signal processing hardware or software.
  • Proven experience with RF measurement tools and conducting RF measurements.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the application of microwave devices, including RF countermeasure antenna measurements and analysis.
  • Experience with RF countermeasure techniques and/or technologies, including RF decoys and/or active jamming systems.
  • Possession of a DoD Secret Clearance within the last 24 months.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (1-2 times per month).

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.

Compensation:

  • Salary range: $85,000 - $130,000.00

Employment Conditions: Candidates must successfully complete a drug screening and pre-employment drug test. U.S. Citizenship is required. All candidates must adhere to company and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing policies. A Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance is mandatory at the time of hire. Selected applicants will undergo a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
