Zachary Piper Solutions is in search of an Electronic Warfare/Radio Frequency Engineer to deliver expert technical assistance to the NAVY's Exports Program Office. This role is on-site and based in Washington, DC. The selected candidate will offer specialized technical insights and recommendations concerning Radio Frequency and Electronic Warfare systems, as well as contribute to the drafting of defense position papers and decision memoranda related to the export of these systems.

Key Responsibilities of the EW/RF Engineer include:

  • Possessing technical, system, or engineering expertise with military technologies and platforms, particularly those involving radar, IRS systems, electronic warfare, and infrared technologies.
  • Assessing system utility and operational effectiveness.
  • Interpreting Department of Defense (DoD) directives on export policies to provide informed recommendations to DoD and industry stakeholders regarding export requests, while collaborating with subject matter experts across various DoD branches to ensure compliance.
  • Building and maintaining partnerships with diverse DoD entities, intelligence communities, and other stakeholders to meet program requirements.

Qualifications for the EW/RF Engineer include:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 6+ years of experience in export-related roles, particularly in RF/EW domains.
  • Proficiency in policy development, documentation, and presentations.
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI is required for consideration.

Compensation for the EW/RF Engineer includes:

  • Salary: $150,000 - $185,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
