Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team responsible for designing, testing, deploying, and maintaining applications.
  • Collaborate with departments to identify areas where technology can enhance business operations.
  • Evaluate current technology effectiveness and suggest improvements for increased productivity or enhanced user experience.
  • Analyze benefits and costs for proposed enhancements and upgrades.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including negotiations, service delivery, and contract compliance.
  • Work with vendors to establish product roadmaps for ongoing application enhancements.
  • Provide leadership and feedback to ensure team success.
  • Coordinate with the Director of IT Operations to align services with organizational strategies.
  • Organize meetings at various organizational levels leveraging technology for content delivery.
  • Collaborate with IT Operations team to solve complex technical problems.
  • Resolve customer support issues within designated timelines.
  • Conduct routine user access audits.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and guide staff on their implementation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or related field; or equivalent 10+ years of IT experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in application development management.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective in facilitating communication between IT and business operations.
  • Proficient in application program code and design review.
