Your Role:
As a Senior Integration Solutions Architect, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of integration solutions that ensure smooth communication and connectivity between various systems, applications, and data sources across the organization. Collaborating with architects, analysts, and engineers, you will ensure that integration designs align with business needs and adhere to enterprise integration standards.
Key Responsibilities: System Design & Architecture
- Direct the architecture and design of integration solutions, including messaging systems, enterprise service buses (ESBs), and API gateways, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with the Domain Architect to ensure that system architecture adheres to established standards and present new solutions for review and approval.
- Provide mentorship and technical direction to a team of integration engineers, conducting code reviews and promoting adherence to best practices.
- Design and implement integration solutions that connect various systems and applications, utilizing the current technology stack and developing custom components as needed.
- Oversee middleware platforms, ensuring optimal performance and reliability through installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Manage integration projects from inception to completion, coordinating tasks, resources, and monitoring progress to ensure timely delivery.
- Implement quality assurance practices and testing strategies to validate the functionality and performance of integration solutions.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational policies related to data privacy and security within integration solutions.
- Document technical designs and operational procedures to facilitate knowledge transfer and support among team members.
- Address incidents and service requests related to integration systems, resolving issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Engage in the evaluation and selection of technology solutions, maintaining relationships with middleware vendors and leveraging external expertise as necessary.
- Stay informed on the latest trends and best practices in integration engineering, continuously enhancing processes and methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in integration solutions and supporting infrastructure.
- Proficiency in API design and management, with a strong understanding of various integration technologies.
- Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS and Azure.
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
