Infosys is looking for a Senior Java Solutions Architect. This role is primarily focused on the financial services sector, tasked with defining cross-line of business architecture, enhancing existing frameworks, and introducing new industry-standard practices across the technical landscape.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will:
- Understand complex business processes and collaborate effectively within a team of architects, business/system analysts, and developers.
- Engage in resource modeling and participate in cross-functional technical brainstorming sessions.
- Provide innovative technical insights and contribute to planning Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives.
- Work closely with technical, managerial, and business executives to ensure alignment on architectural solutions.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Proven experience in architecting Java and J2EE applications.
Ideal candidates will have:
- 7 to 10 years of experience with Java/J2EE technologies.
- Extensive experience in the software development life cycle and project life cycle activities for development and maintenance projects.
- Experience with Webservices and architectural solutions, along with best practices for design solutions and functional programming.
- Background in the banking domain.
- Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to thrive in a diverse and multi-stakeholder environment.
- A desire to work in a global delivery context.
