Job Description:

The Senior Technical Solutions Architect will collaborate with project management to ensure comprehensive accountability for the solutions developed, guaranteeing that project outcomes meet quality standards and align with business objectives. This role encompasses the overall architecture and design across a select range of applications or domains, focusing on projects of moderate size, complexity, and risk. The architect will leverage extensive cross-functional expertise to facilitate problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a cohesive application design strategy and architecture that prioritizes flexibility, scalability, security, and performance.
  • Enhance software solutions by introducing unifying concepts that simplify complexity and manage dependencies effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate architecture standards, contributing to the overarching architecture strategy.
  • Oversee the design solution throughout the development lifecycle, including coding, testing, and production, while addressing any post-production challenges.
  • Engage in governance processes for new technologies to maintain consistent technology lifecycle management.
  • Assist in formulating solution estimates and project planning, including task sequencing and identifying necessary technical skills.
  • Build consensus around application architecture principles and provide clarity on these concepts.
  • Contribute to project teams by offering insights on technology vision, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Evaluate and select technology solutions, providing thorough analyses of options.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of operational, architectural, and design processes.
  • Assess application architecture for performance, quality, security, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Facilitate project transitions by preparing documentation and supporting teams.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with IT and business partners, offering consultation to business teams.
  • Resolve issues by implementing action plans and troubleshooting effectively.
  • Design tools that promote the reuse of design components across projects.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge and experience, benchmarking technology strategies and monitoring industry trends.
  • Promote the adoption of innovative technologies and methods to improve business processes and deliver value.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in creating complex architectural designs.
  • Strong consulting, communication, and consensus-building skills.
  • Ability to learn from feedback and apply it to enhance performance.
  • Familiarity with various hardware platforms and operating systems.
  • Deep understanding of database management.
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to think beyond conventional standards.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging technology solutions, including security and regulatory requirements.
  • Effective decision-making skills in architecture and design implementation.
  • In-depth knowledge of application development practices.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with significant experience in IT and leadership in large-scale projects. Candidates should possess strong technical knowledge of ERP systems and cloud-based solutions, with excellent project management and analytical skills.
