We seek a seasoned HCM/WFM architect to steer the development of our next-generation solutions utilized by over 300,000 partners daily.

  • Collaborate closely with various technology teams to formulate strategies, technology blueprints, logical designs, and perspectives for the partner workforce management domain, encompassing core infrastructure, platforms, solutions, and digital experiences.
  • Foster opportunities through collaboration with diverse stakeholders to enhance our partner technology ecosystem.
  • Guide cross-functional leaders in establishing priorities, key initiatives, and organizational alignment to support informed business decisions.
  • Work alongside fellow architects to devise impactful strategies for improving experiences and efficiency through shared roadmaps, technologies, and partnerships.
  • Provide comprehensive technology thought leadership through active engagement in products and programs.
  • Assist in crafting proposals for enterprise technology strategies based on environmental assessments, opportunity identification, value, and risk.
  • Lead the design of technology solutions for programs that span multiple business units within the enterprise.

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate thinks strategically and can articulate clear narratives that lead to successful execution of that strategy. They enjoy collaborating with a wide range of individuals in both technology and business sectors, leveraging a growth mindset to innovate and discover breakthroughs in existing or adjacent areas. They excel at creating clarity and communicating effectively in ambiguous situations, engage with empathy through technological, behavioral, and structural changes, and enjoy learning while applying technologies to business opportunities.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A solid background in technology and human-centered design, along with the ability to formulate clear strategies.
  • A robust understanding of at least two or more of the following areas: retail commerce, core HR, enterprise employee experiences, and/or workforce management, with a good grasp of the others.
  • The ability to create effective presentations and deliverables for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and an interpersonal style that meets the needs of diverse customers.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10 years in business process and system design
• 7 years in functional and system modeling

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years of participation in departmental (or greater) strategic technology planning
• 3 years of hands-on experience in developing APIs, Microservices, or enterprise event-driven systems.

Architectural Thinking:
• Deep understanding of end-to-end HCM solutions for retail or related industries.
• Proficiency in data analytics, utilizing data to drive insights and enhance engagement.
• Previous experience in conducting build vs. buy analysis and vendor evaluations.
• Familiarity with architecture and agile delivery frameworks.
