Position Summary

We are in search of a qualified Property Manager for our 61-unit senior residential community. Applicants must possess HUD experience. The Property Manager will oversee the comprehensive management of site operations and supervise the maintenance of the property, all under the guidance of the Regional Manager. Above all, fostering a spirit of teamwork and collaboration with fellow team members will not only enhance job performance but also enrich the overall work environment.

*This position includes an on-site 2-bedroom manager's unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect rent and maintain digital records; follow up on delinquent accounts and pursue collections in accordance with established protocols.
  • Monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines.
  • Maintain tenant files and relevant documentation regarding ongoing eligibility and adjustments.
  • Show vacant apartments using professional marketing techniques.
  • Address resident inquiries and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise site staff while overseeing the overall maintenance of the property.
  • Conduct regular property inspections.
  • Complete income verification to ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • Manage the financial operations of the properties.
  • Possess knowledge of Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations.
  • Understand laws and standards applicable to property management, including Fair Housing Laws, Landlord-Tenant Laws, OSHA Standards, and local and state building codes.
Qualifications
  • Familiarity with affordable housing programs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A minimum of three years of experience in multi-family residential management, with at least two years in affordable housing.
  • Ability to work independently, organize tasks, manage time effectively, and prioritize projects.
  • Experience with RealPage OneSite or similar property management software.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
