Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Collect accounts receivable, work with the credit department and clients to resolve any issues, and ensure all balances due are collected based on approved credit terms.
  • New Business Development: Identify prospective customers, develop new business opportunities, and leverage other resources to assist with top penetration opportunities and new account openings.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales, sharing information with customers as part of the value-added services provided.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • 1+ Year of Sales Experience: Proven sales experience, preferably in the foodservice industry or a related field.
  • Foodservice Industry Experience: Experience working in the foodservice industry, culinary, restaurant management, or hospitality.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders, with a focus on developing new business opportunities.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on achieving sales and profitability goals.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, with experience using customer relationship management tools preferred.
