Job OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned operations executive with a proven track record in scaling startups, particularly in the location based entertainment/immersive experiences sector.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations of the company, ensuring that all departments work seamlessly together to achieve our strategic goals.
- Scalability: Develop and implement operational systems and processes that support the company's growth, with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and quality.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of professionals across multiple departments, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Financial Management: Collaborate with the CFO to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning, ensuring the company's financial health and sustainability.
- Project Management: Oversee the successful execution of all immersive experiences, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and exceed customer expectations.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's long-term strategy, identifying new business opportunities and potential partnerships.
- Customer Experience: Champion a customer-first approach, ensuring that every aspect of our operations is geared towards delivering an exceptional experience.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks to the business and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the company remains agile and adaptable in a fast-paced industry.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of immersive entertainment.
- Experience: 5-10 years of operational leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role within the location based entertainment or immersive experiences industry.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading and scaling teams in a high-growth startup environment.
- Operational Excellence: Strong background in building and optimizing operational processes, with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
- Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight.
- Project Management: Demonstrated success in managing large-scale projects from concept to completion, on time and within budget.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable plans.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with the ability to pivot as needed.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels of the organization.
- Detail Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify potential issues before they arise and ensure the highest standards of quality across all operations.
- G-Suite Proficiency: Proficient in Google Workspace (G-Suite) tools, including Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Drive, with the ability to leverage these tools for efficient team collaboration and data management.
