Chief Operations Officer for Healthcare Centers
Overview:This role is newly established.

The Chief Operations Officer (COO) for Healthcare Centers (HCC) will oversee the operational functions of the Department of Medicines (DoM) across all Healthcare Centers in the United States, including the Liver Institute.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate strategies to improve operational goals such as productivity, patient and employee satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • Guide a diverse workforce to ensure effective care delivery at the HCCs.
  • Support Office Administrators and HCC personnel in reaching operational objectives.
  • Develop, revise, and implement standard operating procedures for HCC operations.
  • Oversee daily operations of the HCCs.
  • Encourage collaboration, communication, and relationships among HCC staff.
  • Contribute to the strategic growth initiatives of the organization.
  • Ensure the long-term viability of the HCCs.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with senior executives.
  • Advocate for exceptional customer service and compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Foster a culture of high performance and ongoing improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for operational enhancements and efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with others to achieve national operational objectives for HCCs.
  • Manage budgeting and financial responsibilities.
  • Conduct reviews, audits, and generate reports.
  • Enhance quality and reporting mechanisms.
  • Participate in various meetings.
Qualifications:Essential skills: Outstanding analytical, organizational, and leadership capabilities. Proficient in managing stakeholders in diverse settings. Strong conflict resolution abilities. Excellent communication skills. Education: Master’s degree or higher in relevant disciplines. Experience in outpatient clinical operations is essential. Previous leadership experience in a similar capacity is preferred. Computer skills: Proficient in MS Office applications. Language skills: Strong written and verbal communication proficiency. Reasoning ability: Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to interpret reports. Travel: Local and national travel will be required.
