YOUR ROLE IN OUR MISSION:
A Chief Security Officer plays a vital role at AHF by safeguarding the organization's assets and ensuring the safety of its personnel, tenants, contractors, guests, and visitors across AHF's locations, including Healthy Housing properties. In this capacity, you will utilize your security expertise to implement strategies that protect our staff and assets, including the inventory of donations, at our Healthy Housing facilities situated in the downtown area and other AHF sites.
You will be fully accountable for executing policies and procedures aimed at fulfilling this critical mission while coordinating and supervising the in-house Security Guards Team.
A Chief Security Officer enhances AHF's reputation by maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor and demonstrating discipline in the execution of duties, recognizing potentially hazardous situations, and responding in the safest and most effective manner.
You will passionately advocate for our primary initiatives.

AHF operates with a collaborative organizational structure where staff members are accountable to multiple leaders.
The Chief Security Officer will collaborate closely with the Healthy Housing operational staff to establish and maintain effective working relationships, ensuring a safe and secure environment. Additionally, you will utilize the existing Safety and Security Incident Reporting System to submit comprehensive reports regarding incidents and situations that arise during your shift. In this role, you will have the opportunity to consistently add value to AHF/HHF by adapting to various circumstances with ease and demonstrating flexibility.
