Position: Senior Analyst, Fixed Income Middle Office, Hedge Fund Services

Overview:

As a Senior Analyst in the Fixed Income Middle Office, you will leverage your industry expertise to support a team dedicated to Hedge Fund Services. Your primary responsibility will be to manage daily client fund administration related to Fixed Income products while assisting the broader Fixed Income team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee lifecycle event post-trade processing for various Fixed Income securities, including ABS, MBS, CDO, CLO, Government, and Municipal Bonds.
  • Facilitate the resolution of cash and position discrepancies between Hedge Fund Services and the client's Prime Broker or Custodian bank.
  • Collaborate closely with management to ensure adherence to process controls, mitigating risks and ensuring timely and accurate task completion.
  • Execute assigned responsibilities to meet daily and month-end deliverables, ensuring precision in all outputs.
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding issues, both internally and externally.
  • Engage in project initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and strengthening the control environment.
  • Operate autonomously, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the business unit and relevant functions.
  • As a subject matter expert, provide comprehensive consulting to team members and partners at a high technical level.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with fundamental accounting principles and a solid understanding of financial markets and instruments.
  • High adaptability and flexibility in response to change.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bloomberg is preferred.

Preferred Experience:
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience, along with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., MBA, CFA, CAIA) are advantageous.
