Security Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe and report any suspicious activities or incidents on the client site
  • Carry out instructions as documented in site Post Orders
  • Make periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment
  • Patrol the assigned site on foot, checking for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons
  • Respond to all emergency incidents
  • Prepare logs and reports as required
  • Utilize TrackTik scans throughout the site
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a current BSIS Security Guard Card License
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to patrol outdoors in different weather conditions
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional attitude
  • Ability to pass an extensive background screening process by Creative Security and the client
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • CPR/First Aid/AED, preferred (we will provide training if you do not have)
  • Client site requires all security personnel to provide proof of being fully vaccinated against Covid-19

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Pay rate: $22.50 to $24 per hour to start, with increases after completing a 6-months probationary period
  • Full-time opportunities with various shifts available
  • Corporate type setting, indoor and outdoors
  • Included benefits/perks: medical, dental, vision, 401k (4% matching), employee referral bonus, paid holidays, paid sick leave
