Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Cross Country Allied is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team in Stanford, California.

Job Summary

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for testing by administering radioactive drugs. You will work under the supervision of a physician at a hospital, physician's office, diagnostic lab, or imaging center. Your role will involve helping patients understand the procedure, preparing and delivering radioactive drugs, operating equipment, keeping records, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Administer radioactive drugs to patients for testing
  • Prepare patients for testing by explaining the procedure and ensuring they are comfortable and secure
  • Operate equipment to administer and monitor radioactive drugs
  • Keep accurate records of patient testing and results
  • Work under the supervision of a physician to ensure patient safety and quality care
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of recent experience in a relevant setting and specialty
  • ARRT/NMTCB Certification
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • Current state license (if applicable)
