Role Summary

Clary Sage College is in search of a dedicated professional to manage afternoon and evening shifts at the front desk as a Customer Relations Specialist (CRS). The CRS will serve as the initial point of contact for visitors, both in person and over the phone, fostering an atmosphere of exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include managing multi-line phone systems, assisting clients with service scheduling, operating the salon register, and demonstrating proficient cash-handling skills. Daily interactions will occur with students, management, vendors, and staff, ensuring that the institution's high standards and values are consistently represented.

This role necessitates a mature individual capable of working independently during evening hours and executing campus closing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome all visitors entering and exiting the facility.
  • Manage multi-phone lines, redirect calls, and take messages as necessary.
  • Operate the Millennium register, handling transactions and ensuring accurate cash management.
  • Maintain communication with maintenance and housekeeping teams.
  • Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing correspondence, including faxes.
  • Organize materials and data in both physical and digital formats.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.
  • Engage daily with students, salon/spa clients, management, vendors, and staff to uphold high-quality standards and corporate values.
  • Provide general product knowledge to all customers.
  • Report any complaints to the supervisor or general manager.
  • Complete necessary incident/accident forms for HR.
  • Address customer inquiries and issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Participate in at least two professional development opportunities each year.
