ROLE SUMMARY - Oversee shelter management to ensure a secure environment.
- Remain alert to the shelter environment and address any concerns
- Guarantee the safety of both clients and staff members
- Keep thorough shift logs and documentation
- Report any issues to the Program Director
- Interact with clients to comprehend and meet their needs
- Participate in staff meetings and training opportunities
- Uphold confidentiality of sensitive information
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 2 years of sobriety
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
- Empathy towards low-income populations
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage crises
- Understanding of substance abuse and mental health issues
- Basic proficiency in computer usage
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Capability to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Able to navigate stairs
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
- Reports directly to the Program Director
- This position does not have direct reports
