Job Description

We are seeking a passionate, self-driven, and results-oriented sales professional to join our team at Dan Butler-District Office as a Licensed Insurance Producer. As our newest insurance sales representative, you will be responsible for selling, marketing, and servicing our insurance products to existing clients and new customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
  • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
  • Develop ongoing networking relationships with real estate agents, mortgage lenders, title companies, auto dealers, and other industry professionals.
  • Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity, including financial products.
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements.
  • Prospect and generate new business through leads and referral sources.
  • Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.
  • Process customer policy change requests.

Requirements:

  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, and resourceful, and be coachable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to obtain or possess an active Life & Health Insurance license.
  • Strong work ethic and leadership skills.
  • Driven and goal-oriented individual.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies.
  • A Property & Casualty license is preferred but will train a good individual.
  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies.
  • Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is beneficial.
