Job Title: General Manager

About the Role:

Urban Air Cedar Park is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive success. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for motivating, developing, and holding staff accountable for achieving results while maintaining a fun and positive culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • People:
    • Hire, train, and mentor staff to develop their skills and provide exceptional customer service.
    • Cultivate a team environment that promotes a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
    • Implement and execute staff training programs to ensure high-quality service.
    • Assist in selecting and developing Area Leads and Certified Trainers for internal promotability.
    • Lead and influence management staff through effective motivation and leveraging individual strengths.
  • Operations:
    • Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for guests and staff.
    • Responsible for all aspects of the operation, including entertainment, food, beverage, attractions, and property.
    • Continuously improve operational execution through attention to detail and adherence to operating standards.
    • Provide direction to the management team and ensure all staff members perform at a consistently high level.
  • Financials:
    • Capitalize business opportunities in the market area by executing company marketing strategies to drive sales.
    • Maintain systems for overall fiscal responsibility, including inventory control and labor budget management.
    • Analyze financial reports and develop action plans to grow revenue and control expenses.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Facility Operations & Management.
  • Experience in hospitality, preferably in Theme Parks, Family Entertainment Centers, Hotels, Resorts, Casinos, or Restaurants.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop team members and achieve expected store financial results.
  • Strong character, good judgment, and excellent communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Professional grooming and conduct at all times.
