Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and charismatic Bartender to join our team at The Hotel at Avalon and Alpharetta. As a key member of our beverage team, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional cocktails, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to a warm and inviting atmosphere in our bar.
Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, beers, and wines, using fresh ingredients and precise techniques.
- Engage with guests, listen to their preferences, and make recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Manage cash and credit transactions, maintain accurate records, and balance the bar's cash drawer.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service, efficient operations, and exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest trends, techniques, and product knowledge.
- Previous experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, as well as wine and beer.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
