Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Greet guests with a warm and sincere welcome, using a positive and clear speaking voice to ensure a memorable experience.
  • Registration and Check-In: Complete the registration process by accurately inputting and retrieving information from our computer system, confirming guest details and room rates.
  • Room Assignments and Key Management: Make informed decisions about room assignments, code electronic keys, and provide welcome folders containing essential information.
  • Payment and Accounting: Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization, handle cash and make change, and balance the assigned house bank.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Promptly answer phone calls, input messages into the computer, and retrieve mail and packages for guests as requested.
  • Conflict Resolution: Listen attentively to guest concerns, conduct thorough research to develop effective solutions, and negotiate results to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Remain calm and alert during emergency situations, plan and implement detailed steps, and adapt to changing circumstances.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Experience: Hotel experience preferred, but not required.
  • Skills: Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
