Position Overview:

Under general supervision, the HVAC Maintenance Technician II is responsible for conducting precision tune-ups and maintenance on HVAC systems and components. This role involves direct communication with clients to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure complete satisfaction. The technician will also promote products and services to enhance customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance calls under general supervision.
  • Perform routine tune-ups and maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems accurately and promptly.
  • Inspect and diagnose equipment to identify potential issues, preventing unexpected breakdowns.
  • Complete routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment as required.
  • Manage the delivery and removal of parts and equipment necessary for service work.
  • Assist Service Technicians in servicing HVAC systems and components.
  • Document all required information on customer interactions using a handheld device, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch to provide updates on activities and availability.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Promote company products and services during customer visits.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of company property, vehicles, and tools.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity in all business interactions.
  • Follow standard procedures to ensure company vehicles are properly stocked.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Health & Safety Responsibilities:

  • Report unsafe conditions or acts to the supervisor immediately.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Utilize and maintain personal protective equipment as required.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and report any incidents promptly.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED with additional training and 2 to 5 years of HVAC experience preferred.
  • Valid licensing or certification as required by local regulations.
  • EPA and safety certifications are mandatory.
  • Basic understanding of HVAC operational principles and related components.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with necessary tools and equipment.
  • Effective communication skills for customer interaction and issue resolution.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as necessary.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks in various environmental conditions.

Compensation Range: Minimum $47,989; Maximum $71,983
