Position Overview:

Under general supervision, the HVAC Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing precision tune-ups and maintenance on HVAC systems and related components. This role involves engaging with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of satisfaction. The technician will also promote products and services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance calls under general supervision.
  • Perform routine precision tune-ups and maintenance on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems in a timely manner.
  • Inspect and diagnose equipment to identify potential issues, preventing unexpected breakdowns.
  • Complete necessary maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
  • Manage the delivery and removal of parts and equipment for service tasks.
  • Assist service technicians in maintaining HVAC systems and components.
  • Utilize handheld devices to document customer interactions and service details accurately.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch to provide updates on service status.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Promote company products and services during customer interactions.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of company property, vehicles, and tools.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity.
  • Follow established procedures and ensure proper stocking of company vehicles.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Health & Safety Responsibilities:

  • Report unsafe conditions or acts to the supervisor immediately.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Utilize and maintain personal protective equipment as required.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and report incidents promptly.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED with additional training and 2 to 5 years of HVAC experience preferred.
  • Valid licensing or certification as required by local regulations.
  • EPA and safety certifications are mandatory.
  • Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with necessary tools.
  • Effective communication skills for customer interactions.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as necessary.

Compensation Range: Minimum $47,989; Maximum $71,983
