Work Schedule

Role Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Customer Care Specialist will facilitate communication between the pharmacy, healthcare providers, and facilities, ensuring that prescription-related issues are resolved promptly and courteously. Key responsibilities include:
+ Responding to and processing inquiries related to patient information and medication therapies
+ Managing requests for prescription refills, patient discharge orders, and special delivery needs
+ Assisting pharmacists with communications to facilities and physician offices
+ Collecting patient information for our database through outreach to patient care representatives and healthcare providers
+ Exercising judgment to escalate issues to management when necessary
+ Utilizing various software applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Word
+ Completing assigned projects in a timely manner
+ Performing additional tasks as required
Candidate Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
+ At least one year of experience in direct client communication or customer service
+ Previous experience in healthcare or pharmacy is preferred
+ Strong computer skills and data entry proficiency
+ Excellent oral communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
+ Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred
