Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team at The Michaels Organization. As an Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing exceptional support to our Community Manager and Assistant Community Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct phone calls, retrieve messages, and follow up with callbacks from the answering service.
  • Fax, file, and mail notices, letters, and handouts to residents and applicants.
  • Initiate, track, and close work orders using our property management systems.
  • Assist the Community Manager with ordering office supplies and maintaining a well-stocked office.
  • Show vacant units to prospective tenants and report incidents and emergencies to the Community Manager or Assistant Community Manager.
Requirements
  • 6 months or more of clerical office experience.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a professional business appearance.
