Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Protective Services Support Specialist to join our team at Greater Springfield Senior Services, Inc. (GSSSI). This role will play a critical part in supporting at-risk adults and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Protective Services department staff with case management and risk assessment for at-risk adults.
  • Receive and review referrals for housing and other support services, and provide case assistance as needed.
  • Conduct collateral calls with clients and their families to assess risk and provide support.
  • Document all interactions and case progress in our documentation systems, including APS and Form Site.
  • Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary team to ensure effective case management and risk assessment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in social work or related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation systems.
