Strategic Sales Engineer

At Atlan, we're building a modern data platform that empowers organizations to make data-driven decisions. As a Strategic Sales Engineer, you'll play a critical role in helping our customers achieve their data goals.
Key Responsibilities- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across organizations, from CDOs and Data Platform leaders to data engineers and analysts.
- Be the trusted advisor for data teams on their journey to building a modern data platform.
- Evangelize Atlan and the principles of an agile data culture to the broader data community.
- Arm customers with the information they need to make a decision about bringing Atlan into their daily workflows.
- Prior experience as a Sales Engineer or Technical Data Practitioner in customer-facing roles (minimum 7 years).
- Industry experience working with data technology.
- Technical expertise in SQL, RestAPIs, and programming languages like Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with Enterprise/Fortune 500 customers and complex sales cycles.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for solving technical problems.
