Job Summary

Foster Farms is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Field Supervisor Trainee - Chicken Grow Out. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and grow with a leading poultry producer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the supervision of employees and all fryer ranch functions.
  • Participate in hands-on training in all aspects of fryer production.
  • Collaborate with the team to control and maintain bird health using available resources.
  • Monitor and coordinate all ranches grow-out functions.
  • Ensure accurate labor needs are met and personnel-related activities are conducted effectively.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Poultry/Animal Science, Ag-Business, or related field.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Leadership/supervisor skills with the ability to act independently and evaluate fairly and objectively.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends, holidays, and late/early morning hours.
  • Good computer skills and ability to create and analyze data.
  • Ability to interface with support groups, departments, and upper management.
  • Valid Class C Driver's License and good DMV driving record.
  • Ability to follow and enforce company policies and guidelines, including bio-security and animal welfare.
  • Detail-oriented with strong mechanical, mathematical, and analytical aptitude.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
