Position Summary
The University of California, San Francisco is seeking qualified faculty members to join the Adult Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Division. This role is available at the ranks of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
Role Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
1. Providing clinical coverage for the Interventional Pulmonology (IP) service.
2. Engaging in outpatient pulmonary practice with a focus on the IP and Lung Nodule Program.
3. Potentially covering the Medical ICU based on individual interest and experience in IP.
4. Participating in educational activities, including teaching and supervising trainees.
5. Contributing to clinical research initiatives.
Program Highlights
The Lung Program at UCSF Fresno is recognized as one of the largest in the nation, dedicated to the early detection and prompt treatment of lung cancer. The program operates within a state-of-the-art facility, including a modern endoscopy unit for bronchoscopy and an advanced interventional pulmonary program.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- Board certification in Internal Medicine.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.
- Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Pulmonology.
- Eligibility to apply for a California Medical License.
