Position Overview
We are offering a $20,000 SIGN ON BONUS for full-time Registered Nurse candidates with over one year of experience. This bonus will be paid in a single lump sum after 30 days of employment, contingent upon meeting the necessary requirements.
Our facility is a 66-bed hospital that provides over 60,000 patient services annually, with a significant portion of these services delivered through our Level 4 Trauma-Designated Emergency Department. We offer a range of services including orthopedic care, women's health services, and a state-of-the-art sleep center. Our imaging capabilities encompass MRI, CT scans, nuclear medicine, 4D ultrasound, cardiac echocardiograms, fluoroscopy, bone density scanning, and 3D mammography.

Key Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse II functions as a vital member of the multidisciplinary team. This role involves independently planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while performing related duties as necessary. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs for nursing care, ensuring continuity of care through effective discharge planning, patient education, and coordination of services, and acting as an advocate for patients and their families. The nurse will demonstrate and exemplify the full spectrum of nursing professional practice in both patient care and the development of strategies aimed at enhancing patient outcomes, satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness at the unit level.
This nursing role involves caring for a diverse patient population with varying levels of acuity, necessitating tailored care plans. Our nursing team is highly skilled in delivering compassionate care and is committed to professional growth and patient kindness.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or a diploma from an accredited nursing program
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license applicable to the State of Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
- A minimum of one (1) year of RN experience
- PRN employees must maintain minimum availability standards, including:
- Four (4) shifts per month
- Two (2) of the four (4) shifts must occur on weekends
- One (1) winter holiday
- One (1) summer holiday
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $43.46 per hour.
