- Adheres to ethical nursing practices.
- Stays informed about the latest nursing methodologies and incorporates evidence-based practices.
- Enhances quality nursing care and collaborative decision-making by supporting council resolutions and participating in the decision-making framework.
- Communicates proficiently across all practice domains.
- Exhibits leadership within the professional healthcare environment.
- Works in partnership with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team in nursing activities.
- Utilizes suitable resources to ensure safe, effective, and economically responsible nursing care.
- Maintains practices that are environmentally safe and promote health.
- Completes comprehensive assessments in the Adult ICU and integrates findings to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Demonstrates proficiency in monitoring techniques, including cardiac rhythm analysis, pulse oximetry, and hemodynamic assessments.
- Possesses knowledge of critical care medications, infusions, and equipment.
- Maintains competencies in critical care nursing.
- Participates in interdisciplinary team rounds.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in critical care nursing.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is highly preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification is required.
- New graduate nurses may be considered for this position.
