Position Overview
We are offering a $20,000 SIGN ON BONUS for full-time Registered Nurse candidates with over one year of experience. This bonus will be provided in a single payment after 30 days of employment, contingent upon meeting specific criteria.
Our facility, a 66-bed hospital, delivers over 60,000 patient services annually, with a significant portion provided in our Level 4 Trauma-Designated Emergency Department. We offer a range of services including orthopedic care, women's health services, and a cutting-edge sleep center. Our imaging capabilities encompass MRI, CT scans, nuclear medicine, 4D ultrasound, cardiac echocardiograms, fluoroscopy, bone density assessments, and 3D mammography.

Key Responsibilities
Role Summary:
The Registered Nurse II functions as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team. This role involves independently planning, executing, and assessing patient care while performing related duties as necessary. Responsibilities include evaluating patient needs for nursing care, ensuring continuity of care through effective discharge planning, patient education, and service coordination, while acting as an advocate for patients and their families. The nurse will exemplify the full spectrum of professional nursing practice in both direct patient care and in the development of strategies aimed at enhancing patient outcomes, satisfaction, and cost efficiency at the unit level.
This role caters to a diverse patient population with varying levels of acuity, necessitating personalized care plans. Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or a diploma from an accredited nursing program
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the State of Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or to be obtained within 90 days of hire
- A minimum of one (1) year of RN experience
- PRN Requirements: PRN employees must maintain a minimum availability standard, which includes:
- Four (4) shifts per month
- Two (2) of the four (4) shifts must occur on weekends
- One (1) winter holiday
- One (1) summer holiday
Compensation
The pay rate for this position is $43.46 per hour.
