A SIGN ON BONUS of $20,000 is available for FULL TIME Registered Nurse candidates with over one year of experience. This bonus is issued in a single payment after 30 days of employment, contingent upon meeting specific criteria.
Our facility, a 66-bed hospital, is strategically located and provides over 60,000 patient services annually, with a significant portion delivered through our Level 4 Trauma-Designated Emergency Department. We offer a wide range of services, including Orthopedic care, Women's Services, and a cutting-edge Sleep Center. Our imaging capabilities encompass MRI, CT scans, nuclear medicine scans, 4D Ultrasound, cardiac echocardiograms, fluoroscopy, bone density scanning, and 3D mammography.

Key Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse II functions as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team. This role involves independently planning, executing, and assessing patient care while performing related responsibilities as necessary. The nurse evaluates patient needs for nursing care, ensures continuity of care through effective discharge planning, patient education, and service coordination, and advocates for patients and their families. This position exemplifies the full spectrum of nursing professional practice, focusing on improving patient outcomes, satisfaction, and cost efficiency at the unit level.
This role caters to a diverse patient population with varying levels of acuity, necessitating tailored care plans. Our nursing team is proficient in delivering compassionate care and is committed to professional growth and excellence in patient service.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or a Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or completion within 90 days of hire.
- A minimum of one (1) year of RN experience.
- PRN employees must adhere to minimum availability standards, including:
- Four (4) shifts per month, with two (2) shifts on weekends.
- One (1) Winter Holiday and one (1) Summer Holiday shift.
Compensation
The pay rate for this position is $43.46 per hour.
