Job Summary

The Cardiac Unit Registered Nurse plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of the healthcare team, this nurse will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using evidence-based practices and standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements individualized plans of care to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Provides direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient responses
  • Evaluates patient progress and adjusts care plans as needed
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • New RNs will be placed into the RN Residency Program
  • Intermediate computer knowledge
