Position Overview:

The primary focus of this role is to enhance client satisfaction and retention by effectively managing the entire revenue cycle process. This includes overseeing all operational aspects of client accounts, optimizing account performance through detailed analytics, and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations. You will manage client inquiries with a focus on fostering long-term partnerships and ensuring optimal client performance through efficient cash collections and accounts receivable follow-up, all while delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee multiple high-profile clients through comprehensive revenue cycle and relationship management.
  • Utilize healthcare expertise and a passion for relationship-building to enhance client financial performance and advocate for their patients and communities.
  • Coordinate internal and external project teams to enrich client experiences through our services and technology.
  • Support clients in prioritizing safety and high-quality patient care by providing insightful financial and operational metrics, sharing compliance updates, and monitoring business performance.
  • Ensure clients fully benefit from their engagement with EMS Management and Consultants Inc by cultivating and deepening impactful relationships within their organizations.
  • Identify creative opportunities to enhance financial performance and explore additional revenue avenues aligned with client values.
  • Promote camaraderie and cultural alignment through effective communication.
  • Maintain continuity in client relationships by documenting meetings and significant interactions promptly.
  • Manage risks and seize opportunities for new clients through participation in implementation projects.
  • Ensure ongoing business process support by monitoring contract statuses and proactively engaging in contract renewals.
  • Engage in continuous personal development through EMS Management and Consultants Inc University courses and external learning opportunities.
  • Assist the Sales and Marketing team in identifying new relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction to foster referenceable clients.
  • Participate in company meetings, committees, and client events.
  • Act as a resource and support for other departments as needed.
  • Conduct training and attend meetings to ensure comprehensive internal knowledge of client needs.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • An associate's degree or higher in Business Administration, Healthcare, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in healthcare billing and reimbursement, client account management, sales, or marketing.
  • Strong internal motivation and a commitment to staying informed about relevant payer, compliance, and regulatory trends.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Comfort with public speaking to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications.
Preferred Skills:
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, healthcare, marketing, or a related business field is strongly preferred.
  • A career history demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience in healthcare or EMS billing and revenue cycle management.
  • Familiarity with various technology applications, including software packages and software-as-a-service platforms.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
  • Ability to work in a general office environment, including typing, sitting, standing, walking, and some light lifting.
  • Proficient in using basic office equipment such as computers, fax machines, printers, copiers, and telephones.
Remote Work Requirements:
