Your Role

Palo Alto Networks is looking for a seasoned and motivated Senior Manager in Sales Finance. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Director of North America Finance and various business partners within the North America Sales team to facilitate strategic decision-making, deliver financial insights, and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Partnership: Act as the finance partner to key sales leaders in North America. Develop a deep understanding of their operations and translate this into actionable financial data. Create metrics and reports to monitor business health, identify P&L risks, and uncover opportunities for growth.
  • Strategic Planning: Align the go-to-market strategy with annual bookings, operating expenses, and headcount plans. Engage actively in the planning processes, including run-rate analysis and budget allocation.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the financial close and forecasting processes for North America Sales. Provide comprehensive monthly and quarterly financial reports that support business decision-making, incorporating best practices for a streamlined approach.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and lead initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and standardizing practices within the NAM Sales Finance team, ensuring scalability and impactful analysis.
  • Mentorship: As a senior team member, foster a growth mindset and support the development of junior team members, emphasizing collaboration and a values-driven culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Over 8 years of substantial FP&A experience, particularly in Sales Finance.
  • Proficiency with ERP and Planning Systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership in dynamic environments.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to integrity and teamwork.
