**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Elior North America. As a key member of our corrections team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of employees to ensure efficiency and adherence to established standards in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Instruct and train employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meal services begin on time and that portion, appearance, and temperature for all food items are appropriate and of high quality.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of employees to ensure efficient and effective food service operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of food service operations.
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses.
**Requirements:**
- At least one year of prior culinary experience in a quality and high-volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking.
- Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once.
- High-level product knowledge and the ability to provide friendly and helpful customer service.
- Experience supervising a team and managing food service operations.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Food Handlers certification.
