Your RolePalo Alto Networks is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manager of Sales Finance. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Director of North America Finance and key stakeholders in North America Sales to facilitate strategic decision-making, deliver financial insights, and enhance operational efficiency.
Your Contributions
- Financial Partnership: Act as the finance partner to key sales leaders in North America, gaining a deep understanding of their operations and translating that into actionable financial insights. Develop metrics and reports to regularly assess business health, identifying P&L risks and opportunities.
- Strategic Planning: Align the go-to-market strategy with annual bookings, operating expenses, and headcount plans. Engage actively in the planning processes for North America, including run-rate analysis and budget allocation.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the financial close and forecasting processes for North America Sales, providing insightful monthly and quarterly reports that support business decisions. Implement best practices to streamline forecasting and enhance the efficiency of the close process.
- Process Improvement: Identify and lead initiatives aimed at creating efficiencies and standardizing practices within the NAM Sales Finance team, enabling scalability and impactful analysis for decision-making.
- Mentorship: As a senior team member, foster a growth mindset and a collaborative team culture by mentoring junior colleagues and supporting their professional development.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting; MBA, CPA, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Over 8 years of robust FP&A experience, particularly in Sales Finance.
- Familiarity with ERP and Planning Systems.
- Proven leadership skills in dynamic environments.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated with a commitment to integrity and team success.
