About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at the Santa Clara Convention Center. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of all food and beverage items, ensuring exceptional quality and service standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Prepare and present high-quality food and beverage items, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu concepts and promotions.
  • Monitor and control food costs, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest feedback and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Culinary Manager in a high-volume food service environment.
  • Proven track record of success in menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
