About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at the Santa Clara Convention Center. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of all food and beverage items, ensuring exceptional quality and service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our diverse client base
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation
  • Monitor inventory and manage food costs to maintain profitability
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate with our events team to provide customized menu options for conferences and events
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Culinary Manager in a high-volume food service environment
  • Proven track record of success in menu development and inventory management
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
