About the Role

The Community Business Developer is a key role in driving business growth and community engagement for Surv - Nashville. This entrepreneur-like position requires building relationships with local institutions, businesses, and residents to raise awareness about Surv and generate business.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for serving others, developing meaningful relationships, and being part of a team focused on growing a business they can be proud of.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new business through channel partnerships and events
  • Maintain and leverage warm relations with current channel partners and client relationships
  • Develop corporate partnerships as an employee benefit and health care benefit
  • Create referral partners for recruitment with colleges, churches, and trade schools
  • Coach and mentor a business development intern
Requirements
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and drive to own and meet goals
  • Organizational skills and ability to track tasks, prioritize, and complete efficiently
  • Strong local connections and relationships within the community
  • Tenacious, can-do attitude and kindness, optimism, curiosity, intelligence, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity
  • Must live in Tennessee, own a smartphone, and have reliable transportation
  • Must be available to work full-time (at least 40 hours/week)
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-3 years experience in a sales role

  • Construction, landscaping, home improvement, and/or contracting experience preferred
  • Thrives in a dynamic, continuously-evolving work environment and can adapt and problem solve quickly
