We strengthen communities by providing a to-do list membership for aging homeowners. Our mission is to empower seniors to live independently by partnering them with young, service-minded adults who can assist with tasks such as painting, landscaping, decorations, junk removal, and moving.
About the Role
The Community Business Developer is a key member of our team, responsible for building relationships with local institutions, businesses, and residents to raise awareness about Surv, generate business, and recruit team members. This entrepreneur-like role requires designing and executing plans to meet business goals, thinking creatively, and working collaboratively with others.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through channel partnerships and events such as real estate and festivals
- Maintain and leverage warm relations with current channel partners and client relationships to develop 5-6 figure contracts over time
- Develop corporate partnerships as an employee benefit and health care benefit
- Create referral partners for recruitment with colleges, churches, and trade schools
- Coach and mentor a business development intern to support lower-level networking and business development
Requirements
- Entrepreneurial mindset, driven to own and meet goals
- Organizational skills, able to track various tasks, prioritize, and complete tasks efficiently
- Strong local connections and relationships within the community
- Tenacious, can-do attitude, especially in the face of challenges
- Kindness, optimism, curiosity, intelligence, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity
- Must live in Tennessee, own a smartphone, and have reliable transportation
- Must be available to work full-time (at least 40 hours/week)

Compensation
$50,000 - $60,000 per year
