Tax Policy Manager

The Washington State Department of Revenue is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our Legislation & Policy division in Tumwater, WA. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to serve in a dynamic organization, working with a dedicated and professional team of tax experts.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the legislative work of the Legislation & Policy division.
- Evaluate state and local tax programs and policies.
- Provide program management support to the division.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, public administration, political science, or a closely related field.
- At least five years of demonstrated leadership experience, including strategic and operational planning, human resource management, and developing and implementing strategies to bring about positive change for a work group.
We are looking for candidates with:
- A law degree from an accredited school of law.
- Licensed to practice law (active or inactive).
- At least five years of legal experience, including practice in tax law.
