Clinical Assistant Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at People's Community Clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing excellent patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments
- Prepare patients for visits and procedures
- Document patient information and vital signs
- Administer medications and store them according to clinic policy
- Collect lab specimens and escort patients to the lab
- Administer immunizations and injections as needed
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and work collaboratively to implement changes
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Successful completion of a medical assistant program from an accredited school preferred
- Experience in a medical setting preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant within the first 90 days of employment
- CPR certification
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of medical protocols and procedures
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact effectively with diverse populations
- Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong oral and written communication skills
