Position Overview:

The Clinical Placement Coordinator is a vital contributor to the mission of Evidence in Motion (EIM), where we are transforming healthcare education to enhance patient care across various communities. Role Summary:

As a Clinical Placement Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the success of EIM's University Partner (UP) initiatives. This position involves:
  • Driving growth within our UP business by ensuring exceptional student placements for EIM UP students.
  • Collaborating closely with departmental and senior leadership to cultivate a culture of lifelong learning through innovative clinical education practices.
Key Responsibilities:

As a Clinical Placement Coordinator, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Managing relationships with University Partner clinical faculty to ensure effective service delivery and outcomes.
  • Providing leadership and oversight for the UP Clinical Education Placement team, focusing on contract management and workforce management metrics.
  • Recruiting, mentoring, and developing the Placement team, fostering resilience, solution-oriented thinking, and accountability.
  • Overseeing the lead pipeline to capture and execute placement opportunities.
  • Actively engaging in cross-functional initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Developing and managing EIM's placement strategy to convert slot requests into successful student placements.
  • Reporting weekly on placement progress to the Director of Clinical Operations.
  • Escalating any pacing or partner concerns to the Director of Clinical Operations as necessary.
  • Regularly strategizing to optimize team performance and streamline internal processes.
  • Promoting the professional growth of team members.
  • Expanding the network of clinical sites to accommodate incoming students and partnerships.
  • Monitoring and auditing processes to ensure a consistent student placement experience and adherence to timelines.
  • Conducting quantitative analysis throughout the clinical placements process to support strategic planning.
  • Collaborating with the Admissions Manager to ensure a seamless transition of student support from admissions to clinical education.
  • Working with the Clinical Education Operations Manager to maintain accurate records within departmental technology platforms.
  • Serving as the point of contact for student placement efforts as directed by the Director of Clinical Operations.
  • Participating in and presenting at monthly clinical education meetings with partner programs to deliver insights and results.
  • Ensuring strict data compliance to protect student privacy and University Partner interests.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong customer focus and a results-driven mindset.
  • Agility and the ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other productivity applications.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Student Information Systems, or similar platforms is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of people management experience.
  • Proven ability to motivate teams to exceed performance goals.
