Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to serve as a Clinical Programs Coordinator at Ascension Seton Northwest. This role will be responsible for developing and overseeing clinical programs, making recommendations and acting as a resource for nursing staff related to patient care and clinical standards, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee clinical programs, making recommendations and acting as a resource for nursing staff related to patient care and clinical standards, policies and procedures.
  • Develop and document care plans and therapy programs.
  • Oversee and ensure plan of care therapy program is implemented as indicated. Ensure necessary resources and/or equipment is obtained as ordered.
  • May supervise and direct nursing staff.
  • Coordinate, assemble, and maintain documentation as required.
Requirements
  • Licensure / Certification / Registration:
    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
  • Education:
    • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
  • Additional Preferences:
    • 2 year ED or Critical Care experience preferred.
    • Previous experience with Performance Improvement preferred.
