Commercial Sales Representative (Technical Sales Representative - HVAC)
We are looking for a skilled Commercial Sales Representative to join our team and drive growth in the HVAC market. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, conducting direct sales calls, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales plans to penetrate new markets and expand existing relationships.
- Make targeted sales calls and presentations to customers in the designated market area.
- Work closely with internal teams to provide customized solutions that meet client needs.
- Track and maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and provide expert insights to clients through ongoing product training.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in Outside Sales, preferably in the HVAC or industrial rental market.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Technical, Marketing, or Business.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screenings.
- Willingness to spend 90%+ of time in the field engaging with clients.
- Experience in commercial and industrial product sales, particularly in the HVAC rental industry.
- Strong understanding of HVAC and electrical systems, including their functionalities.
- Knowledge of construction contracting and engineering processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with Healthcare, Higher Education, Industrial/Manufacturing, and Commercial Real Estate is desirable.
- Competitive drive and commitment to achieving sales objectives.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and goal-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Excel, Windows, Outlook, CRM systems, and other relevant software.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 per year
