Par Pacific operates over 30 convenience store locations in Washington and Idaho, providing both part-time and full-time employment opportunities with potential for career advancement. To qualify for this role, candidates must be at least 21 years of age. A strong fit for the Customer Service Associate position will typically possess:

A High School Diploma or GED is preferred. Previous experience in retail sales and cash handling is advantageous. Proficiency in basic math skills. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, including effective telephone communication. Flexibility to work various shifts and punctuality. Capability to operate necessary equipment and tools. Ability to perform essential job functions in described working conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver prompt and courteous customer service, potentially assisting customers at the fuel pumps. Accurately process all sales transactions on the POS system, adhering to cash handling protocols. Take responsibility for all cash and other payment methods, including coupons. Follow company policies and store procedures, including safety and environmental regulations. Manage receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise. Help maintain appropriate inventory levels and conduct shift audits. Participate in safety programs and trainings, attending mandatory job-related meetings as required. Perform cleaning duties to ensure site cleanliness and upkeep of equipment. Collaborate effectively with team members to foster a positive work atmosphere. Execute all tasks with minimal supervision, demonstrating flexibility in work hours and responsibilities.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift. Vision must be at least 20/40 (corrective lenses acceptable) to view inventory, transactions, and equipment. Hearing ability (hearing aids acceptable) to respond to customer requests and monitor equipment. Frequent overhead reaching, gripping, wrist movement, and finger dexterity for various tasks. Occasional squatting and kneeling for inventory management. Ability to push/pull up to 20 pounds. Frequent lifting of items weighing 20 pounds or less. Occasionally lifting items up to 50 pounds. Capability to climb ladders for material retrieval and signage placement.
