Par Pacific operates over 30 convenience store locations across Washington and Idaho, providing both full-time and part-time employment opportunities with potential for career advancement. To qualify for this role, candidates must be at least 21 years old. The ideal candidate for the Customer Service Associate position will possess:

A High School Diploma or GED is preferred Previous experience in retail sales and cash handling is preferred Proficiency in basic math Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written, including effective telephone communication Flexibility to work various shifts and punctuality Capability to operate necessary equipment and tools Ability to perform essential duties and work under the described conditions

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver consistent, prompt, and courteous customer service; may assist customers at the fuel pumps. Accurately process all transactions using the POS system, adhering to cash handling procedures. Take responsibility for all cash and other forms of payment. Follow company policies and store procedures, including safety and environmental regulations. Manage receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise. Help maintain appropriate inventory levels and conduct shift audits. Participate in safety programs and training, attending mandatory job-related meetings as required. Perform cleaning duties to ensure site cleanliness and upkeep of equipment. Collaborate effectively with team members to foster a positive work atmosphere. Carry out all tasks with minimal supervision and maintain flexibility in work hours.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift. Vision requirements include the ability to see with 20/40 vision (corrective lenses acceptable) for tasks such as monitoring inventory and operating equipment. Hearing ability to respond to customer requests and monitor equipment. Frequent overhead reaching, gripping, wrist movement, and finger dexterity for restocking and operating the POS system. Frequent squatting and kneeling for inventory management. Ability to push/pull with arms up to 20 pounds. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Capability to climb ladders for material retrieval and signage management.

Work Environment:

Positions are available for both full-time and part-time work. The work environment may involve exposure to gas fumes and solvents, as well as occasional noise. This is a non-smoking and drug-free workplace.
