We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Fairmont Breakers. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable stay.
Responsibilities:- Guest Service: Greet guests upon arrival, register them into the computer, and verify reservation details.
- Room Assignments: Select and block rooms for arriving guests, book same-day reservations, and pre-register guests as required.
- Account Management: Maintain accurate records of guest accounts, settle accounts upon departure, and ensure all service standards are followed.
- Communication: Respond to guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services to fulfill guest requests and ensure a seamless stay.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, hospitality diploma an asset.
- Competitive Wage: USD $26.00/hour.
